I have a problem with Adobe Captivate 3. For some reason, the timeline pane is not showing. View timeline from the view menu doesn't work. I tried repairing the installed version and also freshly install a new copy at no avail. Did anyone face such a thing before? Does anyone know the reason?

    Captiv8r,
Thanks for your information. Although, I kind of logically did what you wrote before, your information led me to find what went wrong.
Yes, I was in the editing mode, and tried to click the arrow several times at no avail, and the reason was the timeline window was of zero pixel size, so while it is theoretically open, it is not visible, and no matter how many times I'd click the arrow it won't show. The only solution was to drag the editing window down to expand the zero size timeline window.
I can't believe I spent all that time without figuring it out. Thanks again for leading me to find it.

Hi Rimo il great and welcome to our community

What tab is showing? You only see the Timeline when the Edit tab has focus. Not if the tab is Storyboard or Branching.

If you do have the Edit tab showing, do you see a little dark area in the center top of your edit area? You see similar arrows and areas at the center edge of each of your edit areas. Maybe you got it in a hidden state using the arrow and you just need to click the arrow to bring it back?

Hopefully you will get it sorted... Rick
