Adobe is charging for the 5.5 upgrade!?

I'm dumbfounded.  CP5 was released with bugs, and they've fixed (some) of them, and they want us to pay for the upgrade?

Plus it's not downward compatible with 5, so not only I, but everybody I work with has to buy the upgrade?

Really, Adobe!

    I haven't an answer; just an extension of your complaint: I just bought the latest Technical Communications Suite the end of May which includes Captivate5.0, not 5.5. Why wasn't the latest version of Captivate included in this Suite? Will I need to pay for an upgrade when I haven't even owned Captivate for 30 days before discovering some of the bugs that may now be fixed?
