Advance one CC/Narration at a time?

Hi there,

I really like the CC functionality...  I find it neat and easy to use.  I have synced my captions and narrations...  Is there a way to allow the student to self-pace, but limit it to one caption/narrative at a time?  Or this one of those things that can only be achieved by creating far more slides or by using slide objects?
