Advanced Action - Apply Effect - Motion Path issue

Question

Hello, all. I'm trying to apply a motion path effect (left to right) upon the clicking of a button. It works fine, but the length of the motion path only allows for the default setting. I need it to move across the entire stage, not just 3 inches or so. Any ideas on a fix?

You have to create a custom effect with the motion path you want. To have custom effects available in the list of AA you have first to apply the

custom effect time based. It will then appear in a separate category 'Custom'. No need to save the XML file defining the custom effect in a specfic folder. To apply it time-based, you can use the Browse icon available in the Timing panel where you can choose an effect.
