Advanced action for click

Hi,

I created an advanced action. On clicking a button, a video plays, and on clicking a cross button, it closed the video window. But I observed that, just on hovering the cross button is disappearing. I want to write an action only for the click functionality. Is there any way that I can specify 'on click' that doesn't apply to hovering over?

Thanks

Can you please give some more details? Which version of Captivate are you using? Which type of button did you use: shape button, transparent button, image button, text button?

Normally buttons have InBuilt states, states which occur in a specific situation: when hovering the Rollover state appears, when pressing the button, the Down state appears. This is common to all applications using interactive buttons, not specific for Captivate.

Check the Object State panel for the button: you can edit the states and/or delete them (with the exception of the Normal state) and eventually add states.

Thanks a ton! Yes, it's the states. I changed them and it worked :-)
