Advanced Action While feature

If I'm working in 2017 what can I use for the While feature that is in the 2019 Advanced Action Window?

You can use it to create an infinite loop, or to have something 'built' based on incrementing/decrementing a variable. I need to publish more examples, here is an old one:

Great blog!

But I wrote my question wrong.  I'm using 2017 which has a while option.  A coworker has CP9 that doesn't have a while option.  Is there a way to make the same activity in CP9?

No, While option appeared with the renewing the Advanced Actions dialog box, happened in CP2017. A full description of that new dialog box in:
