I am setting up a quiz with 4 button answers. When I go to advance actions to get them to change states, only one button shows up. How do I get all 4 to appear so I can select them? Using Mac with Captivate 2017.

Also, I'm doing a live stream in 1 hour from when I'm posting. If you like to join I can demonstrate this for you.

No, it is not based on quizzing master slide, it was built on blank slide

I already asked if each of the buttons had all the states, and it was confirmed with Yes.

Quote "Yes, all the buttons have 4 states."

I also asked to see the object state panel, but didn't get it.

Lieve, The second screen shot is from one of my tutorials. I'm very familiar with what Bette is trying to do. If the three other shape buttons are not showing up as an option in her advanced actions, then the multi states are not set up properly.

This looks like a regular question slide, not a custom question slide. Am I correct? Did you use a quizzing master slide? With fuild boxes.

It that is indeed the case, you cannot mess up with such a slide: answers and other objects are embedded and have built in functionality. Any object that you add (in this case shapes used as buttons) will be under the embbeded objects. What do you want to do exactly?

I don't understand what you mean. The command 'Change state' will only work for Custom states, and for InBuilt States 'Normal' and 'Visited'.

Do all the buttons have  the necessary states?

Yes, all the buttons have 4 states.

In that case can you please explain what you mean exactly: Do you miss those buttons in the dropdown list for objects? Maybe post a screenshot of the advanced actions dialog box, and of the timeline. Are all buttons visible in outpu?
