Advanced Actions: Controlling the playbar

Hi,

I'm currently building a course which contains slides that learners MUST complete before continuing.

I have built a main menu screen which contains 7 buttons. When the learner clicks on each button, they are taken to specific slides.

The learner is able to navigate away from each slide by using the forward button before the slide is complete. Ideally, I would want to disable the forward button until the slide is complete and then enable it. Also, is it possible to have the learner return to the main menu screen when the slide is complete by clicking the forward button?

Thanks

No, the playbar is just like the control panel of a VCR: forward is to the next slide, whatever the previous navigation was.

For non-linear navigation like you have, personally I will always hide the playbar and provide custom navigation buttons. Perhaps a Flash programmer could change the functionalities of the playbar, but I'm not a programmer.
