Advanced Actions: play animation instead of just show object

Hi,

I have an interactive page in one of my courses that contains two click boxes. When the user clicks on each box, I'd like a flash animation to play.

However, using the Advanced Action "show" only makes the animation appear on screen in it's final frame, and does not play the animation.

Does anyone know of any Advanced Action that would allow an animation to play when a click box has been clicked?

Thanks,

Liam

Ps, I'm using Captivate 6

Check the timeline, try this setup:

I think your animation has a timeline that started before the pausing point of the click box (which is at the end of the timeline)?

I tried the setup below as suggested, however on clicking on the click box, the animation now does not show.

What is the action that you trigger by the click box? Is it a simple action 'Show' than the playhead will move on and the animation should play. However if you trigger a standard advanced action to Show the animation, the playhead will not move on, you'll need to add the action Continue to make that happen.
