Advanced Actions Problem

I have set up an advanced action titled "If Passing" that will do different actions depending on whether the learner achieves a score equal to or greater than the pass points value (which is set to 75). I have 3 questions that are 10 points each and 3 questions that are 25 points each for a total of 105 points. The 10 point questions are regular slides in a section titled "What Would You Do" where I describe a scenario with 3 possible answers. The learner needs to click the correct click box for the right answer to get the points. The 25 point questions are question slides.

Each time I test the action and get one 25 point question wrong, the expected action (which is to present the certificate of completion) does not happen. With a total of 105 points possible, missing one 25 point question (results in 80 points) is above the pass point of 75. I have tried lowering the pass point to 70 and the certificate still does not display as expected.

Why doesn't the points scored when missing one 25 point question produce the certificate of completion? I have attached a document with screen shots of the advanced action, the preferences that show the pass point is set to 75, and different quiz results that show various scores and details which perform the expected action and which do not. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

    I just had a look at your screenshots: on the results slide which doesn't jump to the certificate slide the 'Accuracy' is less than 75% (it is rather fuzzy, could you check it?). Consulting the CP-help this is the system variable which displays the score in percentage. It seems to me that this is the score used for the determination of the status Pass or Fail, and thus for the certificate.

    Your problem is: why this result less than 75%, because the points scored are 80 out of 105? Could you have a look at the Advanced Interaction view? Are all relevant scores added to the Total of points? Just a couple of questions, because it is not that easy to search for the cause of the discrepancy between the score in points and the Accuracy percentage.

    Another idea: could you set Pass/Fail on points instead of percentage?

    Are or will you be using a LMS?

    Thanks for your reply. The accuracy is above 75% for all of the results slides. The one that doesn't jump to the Certificate of Completion is 76%. I have set the Pass/Fail on points not percentage so I believe accuracy is irrelevant.

    It seems that all the scores are added correctly because the total points for all questions equals 105. When one 25 point question is answered incorrectly, the score displays 80, which is above the pass/fail point of 75 and doesn't jump to the Certificate.

    No I will not be using an LMS.
