Question

Advancing slides without user interaction

The setup of my project.

I am creating a set of "iPod" friendly training modules. I have already created the CBTs using Captivate3.
As I know that iPods do not offer interaction, I am trying to create a project that will run thru a series of slides as I provide narration in the background. I have imported my slides from PowerPoint.

My problem is, I am unable to find out how to make the exported .swf move from slide to slide without requiring the user to provide some manner of input.

Any assistance whould be helpful. I have tried a search of previous topics, but have so far come up empty.
I do have a walkthru using an external program to convery the .swf to mp4, so the next step is already covered.

Hi again

That would seem odd. The changes should be made in Captivate.

Welcome to our community, Hexfyre

You probably imported from PowerPoint using the option where the user clicks to advance. When you do this, each slide receives a Click Box object. You may use one of a couple of approaches here.

* Edit each slide to delete the Click Box object
* Edit the Click Box object on one slide. Click the Options tab and DE-Select the option "Pause project until user clicks". Then use the "Apply to all" function to configure the other Click Boxes the same way.

Rick,

Thank you for the speedy response.
Question, do I make these changes in Captivate or in PowerPoint?
