After Installing Trial, Captivate Won't Launch???

I have downloaded CP6 without issue. I install it as a trial without errors. But when I launch the program the splash CP6 loading page comes up and just hangs... What's going on? Anyone else had this problem, and if so, found a fix for it?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

I am using Windows 7. I have not tried a different account as I only have the one. The account I use is the administrator that people don't get stock. I have run as administrator with no luck. I have installed on this drive and my external ones several times with no luck.

Since you seem to have uninstalled/installed several times, did you delete the Preferences folder (it is not deleted automatically). You can find it in your user profile, the folder is not labeled Preferences but 'Captivate 6.0' in this path:

\users\<your username>\Appdata\Local\Adobe

What about the question about your Documents folder?

If you are on Windows, do you launch Captivate as Administrator?

Is it installed on your system, not on a network drive? And it your Documents folder on your own system?

Welcome to Adobe Forums.

Do you have a MAC or Windows ?

Did you try launching Adobe Captivate 6.0 from a differnet user account on your computer ?
