Hi,

I have to swf-files which I would like to compbine as an aggregator project.

The first file should display without a TOC and the second has a TOC.

Is there a way to combine and publish several swf-files with and withoud TCO in one project?

Thanks for help.

Florence

    Hi Florence,

As RodWard pointed, your TOC from individual project would not display in aggregator, And the TOC items in Aggregator would just be the SWF that you aggregate/add.

I would suggest you to break down the second project into smaller chunks of SWF and republish those chunks sepeartely and then reaggregate , now your TOC would have some improved labels and so that your users would see some purpose to the TOC.

    Thanks,

When you use the aggregator, if you choose to show a TOC it will have to be the aggregator's TOC and it will over-ride the TOCs from the component SWFs, although you CAN nominate one of the SWFs to be the one that the TOC settings are taken from.

You have to put up with the fact that you either have a TOC or you don't when using Aggregator.

If you use an overlay TOC and can find a way to disable it for the first project, you might be able to pull it out for the second.  But disabling the TOC is not something that Captivate currently allows you to do with Advanced Actions.

Your best bet would probably be to find an AS3 developer willing to build you a widget that hid the TOC for the duration of a project, leaving it exposed for the other projects.  But that's only possible if you can find the right developer.
