Aggregator, TOC and progress buttons

I have combined several swf files in Aggregator - some give the learner the option to click Continue to progress on to the next swf file - these will automatically display the progress button in the TOC. However, if the learner ignores the Continue button (these only display on the last slide of each project) and clicks on another Topic in the ToC, that topic is not marked as complete with the progress button.  How can I get the TOC to show a topic complete, when the learner has got to the last slide in any swf?  I am thinking it might be something to do with a Slide Action on Exit?
