Align smart shapes

I have just gone back to a slide and found that some smart shapes are slightly rotated. I've been trying to rotate them back so that they are straight, but I don't seem to be able to as the rotation stays and they won't go completely straight. Is there a setting where I can re-straighten or reset the rotation automatically?
