All-new Captivate flip card widget won't allow interactions

I'm using Captivate 12 the latest available build.

Perhaps I'm looking at this the wrong way, but I would expect to be able to play an audio file when a flip card is clicked and that does not appear to be possible. 

The interactions button is grayed out when I try to attach an audio file. 

Likewise, at the slide interaction level, when I hover my mouse over the interactions icon, I see the "cancel" symbol. 

I've tried creating an interaction that would play the audio file from the block that holds the information, from the card itself, to the image on the card, to the icon that you click on to flip the card over. No matter what I get the grayed out and unavailable interactions icon. 

Any ideas? Thank you!
