All-new Captivate vs. publishing mp4

Hi,

I might've missed this information somewhere but it seems that the only format the training can be published in from Captivate is html/SCORM. Am I missing a setting somewhere that would enable me to publish a video only?

Or is the new Captivate essentially an extension of the responsive project from Classic, where this option simply doesn't exist? If so, is there any plan to change that in future?

Thank you,

Daniela

Version 12 can only be used at this moment to create interactive responsive projects. As you know already, interactivity can never be published to a passive video (mp4) and responsiveness for a video is limited to rescaling, doesn't need responsivity where objects are relocated and rescaled.

Only a non-responsive project in Captivate Classic has the possbility to create a passive video, although that is very weird for eLearning where interactivity is really primordial.

You're welcome. It would be easier for everyone if the official communication was clear to everyone. I want to help Captivate users, but it looks like I have to spend more time nowadays explaining why there are now two version of Captivate supported at the same time.
