Allow Gesture Navigation - Captivate 9

Hi everyone,

I have a NON Responsive project going that I need to allow Gesture Navigation to work.  I read in a different post that someone said it only works on Responsive projects??? True?  If so then why does Captivate provide the "Allow Gesture Navigation" check box?

Adobe - Please help here!!!  Anything I can do to get Gestures working? I can NOT convert this to a Responsive project.

I just shared the samples via Google Drive with dgp@adobe.com. For some reason I can't get this forum to email me when someone replies to my messages. I'll try to check back more frequently.

I also really need this issue fixed ASAP.

    The forum email issue might be connected with something at your end killing the emails because it thinks they are SPAM, That happened to me for months last year until I discovered the Adobe forum had somehow been placed on my ISP's blacklist.

    It must be something like that. Probably the same reason Devraj didn't get my emails. I don't see any emails in my Junk or Clutter folders, but it's a work email, so it might not even be getting that far. I'll call the help desk about it. Thanks for the tip!

    I am having the same issue! Non-responsive mobile projects. Gesture navigation worked in Captivate 8 (the problem was you couldn't disable it on individual slides if you wanted to). Republishing the same courses in Captivate 9, and it no longer works at all. Tapping works, of course, but not swiping to advance or go backwards.

    Disturbing that no one has responded to this post in almost four months.

    Hi ,

    Can we know what the problem in detail. Does gestures don't work for every other slide in your project or in some of the slides?

    Is it on just Upgraded non responsive projects only?

    If possible can you share the project and the published content so that we can test and update you.

    Thank you for the response, Devraj. Thankfully, I haven't seen any reason to do responsive project, so my issue and experience are only with non-responsive. I imported projects from Captivate 8 into Captivate 9 and published for devices (Android). Installed the apps on the device, and swiping no longer works to advance the slide or go backwards.

    I'll email you an example.
