Question

Am I able to limit a users ability to open a project after they have failed a quiz?

I would like to create a presentation that allows users to have two attempts on a quiz, however, I need to track their attempts (passes/fails). Because of this, I need to be able to lock the project after they have exhausted all attempts. Is there a way to do that with Captivate 6 or is that a website issue. Sorry to sound naive, but I am trying to figure out all of the tricks in Captivate.

Is Closing the project an option when failed? The action 'Exit' is available for ' Failing Grade' in the Quiz Preferences. This action will be executed when the user clicks on the Continue button on the score slide, so make him click that button (you can rename it).

Hi There,

Welcome to Adobe Forums,

You can change the number of attempts provided to a user to 2 in Quiz Prefrences (Edit > Prefrences > Pass or Fail) . If you do so the Retake button will get disappeared after second attempt and user will not be able to attempt the quiz again.

If you also want to track the pass and fail attempts of a user then you need to upload your quiz  on any LMS .

Thanks and Regards
