An Easier Way to Create a New Style?

I just modified a default Smart Shape Style.  I changed background color, font size and spacing.

Can I take my "new" Smart Shape style and create a new style name while I'm in my slide?  Or do I need to go into the Edit menu =>Object Style Manager and create the style from scratch by manually setting the attributes.

Seems there should be an easier way.

I've got a recent video on how you can do this in the way that Lilybiri is suggesting if you would like to watch it:

No, you can use the hamburger menu to create a New style. But be careful to check/edit the formatting in all Breakpoint views before saving the style under a new name.

That same menu can be used to reset the style to the original one if you have overridden it, to change the change to an exisiting style or to apply the changed style to all styles using another style. That last option will only work for objects with a not overridden style. Sorry to insist again on the fact that you'd better never override a style as most CP-users seem to do all the time.
