I am trying to integrate an animation on captivate. Which file format should I use?

What output will you be publishing to?

If publishing to SWF you can use an SWF animation created with Flash or Adobe Animate.  However if publishing to HTML5 you will need to look at using an Animated GIF or something like an OAM file built with Adobe Animate.
