Animations in Captivate Classic will no longer publish

I'm working on a project in Captivate Classic where I imported PPT slides with animations. When publishing the project all the animations stall and create pauses in the project as well as to the audio. Previously, we could export projects as SWF/HTML5 and the animations would work fine, but that's no longer an option when exporting. 

Is there anything I can do that can get these animations functioning correctly or do I have to remake everything in Captivate for the functionality to work?
