Animations Not Working in New Captivate

Hello,

I'm having issues with new animation in Adobe Captivate. I'm attempting to animate text using the 'Typewriter' animation when certain audio is playing. It shows up in Captivate and works fine when I click 'Test'.

 

But when I preview the project the text just appears at all once, at the right timestamp, just not with the 'Typewriter' animation. 

Has anyone dealt with this before, or does anyone know if this is an issue just with the preview feature? 

This is with the newest edition of Adobe Captivate.

    You bumped onto a(nother) bug.  I am still exploring because it is very inconsistent.

    First I thought that Typewriter was only functional for a text which appears at the first frame of a slide, not for those who appear later. You can try it out yourself: move Text_236 to the start of the slide and you'll see the animation.

    But than I moved that first text and the animation worked, however still not for the later appearing text.

    When I deleted the animation on the first text and not on the second text, thinking it could only be used once on a slide, there was no animation.

    This is definitely a bug, which I will log.

    Which block did you use? I tried with several types and slides, but want to test out your situation exactly in the same way.

    Primarily through multi-text columns. Pretty simple with a picture at the top and then have 2/3 columns below (depending on the slide). The the title and the body of the text should come in (via the typewriter) when the audio plays at a certain point.

    At this point, the text will just appear at the time I set it as when in preview mode or when it's published. If I try to test it in Captivate itself in the animation panel then it will work correctly.

    I have tried multiple scenarios, with slide templates, text blocks and media blocks. The first Typewriter animation appears, the second one not.  I logged this as a bug.
