Question

Animations work in Web browser, but not HTML5 or SCROM when previewing, suggestions?

I have imported a PPTX into CP9, added audio, synced animation timing to the audio and when previewing in the Web browser all is great, double check in HTML5 and SCROM and all timed animations are not getting activated.

I have even changed the presentation to be embedded in case the linked file was an issue.  Still doesn't activate the animation.

    Captivate is not the 'best' PPT converter, sorry to repeat this over and over again. First have a look at the PPT to see how those animations are triggered. If you want a presentation-like course, use a real plug-in instead of Captivate. You better start in Captivate from scratch, and use the assets from the PPT.


    If you don't want to develop in CP, and the 'presentation' is not interactive, try to capture it with the video demo application coming with Captivate. You'll end up with a video (and there is a video editor that allows to zoom/pan, add transitions, add static objects) that shows all your PPT-animations perfectly.
