Hello,

I have made a quiz from files that we have been using for a long time in Captivate 9. This quiz works fine the first time through, but if they hit the back button I created to take you back through the quiz it freezes. This works for us using and reusing these files usually.

I can post the file if that will help.

Thanks,

Paul

Could you provide me the screenshot of advanced action applied on submit button and onEnter action of one quiz slide so that I can understand the picture more clearly and can provide the solution to you.

Which exact version number? There have been several patches, the latest version is 9.0.2.437.

Allowing Backwards navigation in a quiz is never a good idea, except when you are using the Submit All functionality. The answer on a quiz slide is frozen when you leave the quiz slide, it cannot be changed. What is the purpose to revisit an already answered question in that case?

The version we are using is 9.0.0.223. We cannot upgrade unfortunately because we set up a bunch of preferences for your lms in this version and when we use the preferences in the newest upgrade they do not work properly and our published material is all off (HTML and CSS settings, we would have to completely redo them).

Also with our backwards naviagtion we do not use any of captivates prebuilt quiz answer messages we made our own using advanced actions so they reset due to our advanced actions.

I fixed it by redoing it in a file where the quiz worked, but that didn't answer the problem.

So I am still wondering what could cause it to freeze on the quiz the second time, when most of our quizzes we create let us go back through the quiz, multiple times.
