"Appear After" not working

Hello,

I am using Captivate 4.0. I have several slides in which I want objects to appear after a certain amount of time. For instance, I have an appear set to appear after 4.0 seconds (to time the arrow with the voice-over). However, the arrow never appears. If I take away the delay and change the "appear after" to just 0.0, then the arrow will appear at the beginning. But, I can't seem to time the image with the narration by using the "appear after" function. This is happening with images, buttons and text boxes. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi there

    Normally when you encounter such behavior the culprit is a Click Box, Button or Text Entry Box object.

    Check to see if you have any of these objects on the slides with the issues. Each of these objects will normally pause the slide until they are dealt with by the end user. If they pause the slide at perhaps 1.5 seconds, the object timed to appear at 4 seconds will not have a chance to appear.
