I am using Adobe Captivate 2017 on trial. After the installation I create, listen to and edit the audio in NeoSpeech's editor (or tool) and then copy/paste the VTT script/text into Captivate's audio generation tool. (from AUDIO in Captivate e.g. go to ... Audio --> Speech Management, on a PC, Select your person or 'speech agent' Copy/ paste your text, hit the 'generate audio' button,

The application crashes if I click on OK for some texts. Anything to stop the application from crashing?

Can you check for special characters in the text. Try removing if any.

Storyline is quite capable of crashing too.

I am using Articulate Storyline 3 for the course I am building for my current client under contract.  Unless I close down and reopen the app every few hours, the RAM usage build up to a point where it crashes.  I can watch it happening in the Windows Task Manager.  It has every update available, but it still crashes unless I keep the RAM usage below a given point.

They've just yesterday given me a new PC with 16 gig of RAM instead of 8.  So I'm interested to see if this makes a difference.  But I thought I would just chime in with personal experience as to the fact that Captivate is not the ONLY e-learning authoring tool capable of experiencing an issue.

Use Storyline's Articulate. It never crashes!

How will you create a real responsive project with StoryLine? It is impossible.

What was the original text created with? You should use unformatted text. I mostly paste into the Slide notes panel and will switch from that panel to the TTS.
