I propose you a new question, about applying a new theme “.cptm” file on a Adobe Captivate project “cptx” file. 

 

I have a big issue, it s impossible to add a new theme at this project,  Captivate send me always an error message, after the step “mapping style object”…. 

See on the capture screen. 

For information, I didn’t work before a the start on this file… 

And I test several theme and I have always the same message, I think there is something in the object style manager to correct but why ?

There is a lot of different style.

Are you sure that theme is of the same type as the project you want to apply it AND created with the same version of Captivate? I see indeed a lot of shape styles, but that shouldn't prevent a theme from being applied at all. Do you have the same issues with themes included with this version of Captivate? I would suggest to clear the Preferences, but you have to be careful: where did you store this theme? Cleaning Preferences will delete custom items if they are stored in some locations.

Which color palette is used by this theme?

Je vous remercie, oui les traductions françaises sont toujours  "les formes intelligentes pour les smartshapes"  

 

Yes I have the same problem with others captivate theme.

The theme I wish to apply is working with others project. 

In my point of view the problem is with the cptx files. 

 

For information, before added this topic, I test several solutions I saw on the forum :

clean captivate with the file "cleanpreferencewin" 

unsintall and reinstall captivate

Do you think the issue could be with the version of the software ?

For example the template is created with AC9 and the cptx file has been created with the 7 version...

Yes, I suspect that the issue is with that cptx-file being two versions older. Since CP8 most themes are responsive to start with (can be applied to normal projects) and in CP9 the style definitions for shapes have changed because of the multi-states that will always be available for any shape style and are defined in another way.

Did you try to update that project to CP9 with its present theme and check if there are upgrade issues?
