Question
Apply to All does not appear to work with some properties
Hi, I am having some trouble with Captivate 4. It seems that
many of the properties do not change for all slides when using
'Apply to all', only the current slide changes. I was first trying
to do this with v3 cp files that I'd upgraded, but the same
behavior happens with captures made directly in v4. I am using
Captivate in Assessment Simulation mode, and it is Captivate 4 V
4.0.0 build 1596. Also, I'm Publishing to AS3 because they are
being served inside of an AIR app.
The specific areas that are causing me issue right now are as follows:
-Text Entry Box->Properties->'If the user enters the text incorrectly' section (none work)
-Click Box->Properties->'If the user clicks outside the click box' section (none work)
It also appears that I can't change Shortcut keys, default text, or ->Options->visible.
However I can use Apply to all with settings such as Retain Text and Options->Timing (whole section) just fine.
Process to duplicate:
-Create a blank Assessment Simulation with at least 2 slides, each having a Text Entry box with default settings.
-Select either Text Entry Box
-Click the 'Infinite Attempts' check box to toggle it.
-Check the 'Apply to all' checkbox
-Click the settings button, make sure that "Apply only changed properties" and "Apply to all" are selected
-Click "Apply" and then "OK"
-View another slide with a Text Entry Box...it hasn't changed. Expected behavior: Changed.
Can anybody verify this? Should I file a bug report on it...
