Applying effect make the object dissapear

Hi

Ive been working on a project for some weeks now. All of a sudden captivate classic decided to hide all my objects that have an effect on them.

I see some other people have had the same effect and turned to javascript for a solution.

Is their a fix to this bug?

Are you talking about version 11.8.3? Can you give some more details, please? Which type of objects and effects did you use? Can you post a screenshot of the Timeline of that slide? I do have version 11.8.3 and version 11.5.5.553 of Captivate Classic and want to double-check. I suppose you applied the effect time based or did you use an action to apply it?

I found out that the problem is when I use an "on enter" script. Any script. As soon I add a on enter script the effect make the object (any object) dissapear.

I talket to adobe support but we did not find a solution. I gues its just one of those issues with captivate.

Is it possible to answer all my questions, please? Are you talking about shapes, SVGs or bitmap image/text containers? Are those effects movement effects or other types of effects? Screenshot of timeline is not so necessary because you told it is an action triggered effect, but it could help.
