Applying 'variable' to rest of project slides

Question

I wanted to know if it is possible to apply my slide count to all of my slides without having to individually copy and paste to each slide. I created a paragraph text block and entered '$$Project.CurrentSlideNumber$$ / $$Project.SlideCount$$' and it displayed the correct information for me in preview mode, but I'm not able to figure out if I can apply this to all slides without having to go through each and copying and pasting.

I don't think there is a way for it to automatically show up on each slide. Of course, you don't have to type that onto each slide, you can copy and paste the paragraph block, but thats what it seems like you are trying to avoid!

I haven't been able to update to 12.5 yet, but I wonder if the new header and footer block could be a quicker way to do that? Honestly, nothing is quick or automatic with captivate.
