Question

Are spaces considered characters within Text Entry boxes?

I am using Adobe Captivate 8.

I have "two words" on my text entry.

Is the space between two separate words considered a character when I go put the number of characters in More Options Maximum Length?

*** A follow up to my text entry question: What do I do to have a text entry box already have letters in it, but still allow the user to highlight, delete and enter new text?

Thanks

Yes, space is counted as a character.

You have to rewind the playhead before the pausing point of the TEB to allow correcting the entry. This can be done with the action triggered by the Success event of the TEB. You don't specify if the TEB is validated or not? If it is not validated, it has only a Success event, if it is validated and the number of attempts is limited you also have a Last Attempt event.

What do you want to do with the TEB?
