Question

Are there any published elearning samples with quizzes?

Before I bother with captivate software I would like to experience a sample elearning published project, with quiz. All samples for download seem to be projects. Presumably you dont need a license to use a published file?

Thanks for the helpful examples everyone. It looks like a rebuild in Captivate is a possibility, as is a rebuild in Presenter, but one of the questions that I have is whether both still require Flash, or can it be avoided completely. I envisage users simply clicking a button on a web-site to open the quiz and I don't want them to run into problems related to Flash installations.

I think my needs should be simple at the moment, as I am trying to repeat something I did some 9 years ago, when I created some stand-alone self-learning quizzes using Flash directly ... using a free template from Adobe based around a quiz using an SLR camera (which had all the interactions I needed, so I simply had to change the graphics, questions and number of questions on the timeline. The issue that has taken me down this route is that I cannot even edit these quiz files as Flash seems to have moved on (I think it is due to my quizzes using Actionscript1).

I would like to move to the production of wider e-learning material, but my basis is likely to remain Powerpoints, with hyperlinks to videos and pdf files (with 3d PDF models embedded , which was also straightforward 9 years ago but seems a bit more problematic as well.

You can publish Captivate non-responsive and responsive courses to HTML5.  Leave Flash behind now for good as it will shortly reach Adobe's announced End Of Life date (if the browser makers don't kill it first).

I also suggest you leave PowerPoint behind as well. You cannot hope to leverage the full power of Captivate by starting with a PowerPoint presentation.  Build from scratch in Captivate.

My website has an example of a project I did in Captivate version 7 but it will give you a general idea of how this works.

Have a look at my blog, you'll find several embedded examples of small published projects. Here is a direct link to a published interactive presentation. It has no quiz however:

An example of a published quiz (but this is SWF output, please be sure Flash Player is enabled in your browser):
