AS3 in CP3

From a post in the Authorware list:

I am creating Flash content for my Captivate project. I used AS3
components and published to AS3. The resulting swf will not work
correctly in Captivate 3. Is Captivate 3 not fluent in AS3 components? I
have another simple animation without AS which runs fine. The simple
animation was also created in Flash CS3 and published to AS3 file.

In sum, can Captivate handle AS3? Or is this new released still confined
to AS2?
