Attaching files - on autorun CD

Similar to a topic posted below but a different slant - I have created a DVD style menu to access, via clcik boxes a number of pdf files that I want to contan on a CD that will be copied and distributed to a number of staff.

Making the link etc I know about - the difficulty arises in identifying the location of the source file.

At the momnet I have an auto run CD with the Captivate working fine, but depending upon the
Id letter of the CD drive the disc is in the system won't find the source.

I have tried creating a Data folder and pointing towards this but again it is the drive letter that is a variable. Any ideas????

    Welcome to our community, Dick

    All you should need to do is specify the file name of the document when you configure the Click Box or Button. If you simply type the file name, you then just have to ensure the files are in the same folder as the Captivate that is launching them and it won't matter what the drive letter is.

    If you want to use a sub folder, that's possible too. In that case, you would simply type the sub folder name followed by a slash followed by the file name.
