Audio and Voice

Hi!

I have a slide that has an audio that I want as background while there is voice over at the same time.  How do I lower the volume on the "audio sound" and NOT the voice over?

Thanks...

Only real Background audio can have the volume reduced automatically.

Workaround: use a dedicated audio application (Audition, Audacity) to edit the volume of that one clip, than merge them and import as slide audio.

    I appreciate your help.

So once I edit the sound in Audacity, do I have the voice record with the sound in the background?

Once I import it as a slide audio, what do I do with the content on my slides?

Is there any reason why you don't import that first clip as background audio? Why make it so complicated?

To a slide you can import only one audio clip, that is why I suggested to merge both clips.

Another workaround is to use object audio or the command Play audio to keep both clips separated. Then you can even edit the volume of the 'background' audio in Captivate.

What do you mean about content on the slide?
