Audio box disappeared, screen freezes.

I am trying to edit audio on my slides and my entire application freezes when I select edit audio (as if they window for editing the audio has opened), but no window displays.  Has this ever happened to anyone? This is a show stopper for me, and super frustrating!!

Thank you thank you thank you!! I was so sure it had something to do with multiple monitors, but couldn't figure out how to get the window back.  I followe dyour link in step 8 and it worked!  Much appreciated!

This is usually because you've been using multiple monitors and you've changed something about your monitor setup recently that now means the Slide Audio dialog is appearing somewhere off screen.  This makes it appear as if Cp has frozen when all it is doing is waiting patiently for you to do something with the dialog you can no longer see.

Hit the Escape key to regain control of Captivate if it appears to freeze.

There are two ways to resolve the issue:

1.  Recreate your previous monitor setup and drag the Slide Audio dialog back to the main screen.

2. Delete or Rename your Preferences folder.  See troubleshooting tip #8 in this list:
