Audio controls missing in dialog (Part 2)

The Audio dialog box is missing the control to close. I tried to follow the directions to rename the Captivate folder in Users/MyName/AppData/Local/Adobe folder (Win7). What I found there were three folders for Captivate: Captivate 6.0 (date is from October 2012 when I did a trial), another Captivate 6.0 (x64) dated  yesterday when I re-installed it, and a HeadLessCaptivate 6.0x64 folder also dated yesterday that is empty.

The "rename the folder to Adobe 6.1" solution provided to another forum member did not work. Should I just delete all the Captivate 6 folders in the AddData/Local/Adobe location, uninstall, and reinstall the whole works (again)?

Hi there,

It seems to be a preferences issue.

You can rename all of these folders to Adobe Captivate 6_ old or any name, just rename them. Captivate should be closed while renaming them.

Then run Adobe Captivate as Administrator and check the audio editor.

Thanks.
