Question

Audio delayed, lagging at the start of slides

We're running into this weird issue on cc2017 version, where the audio will start late, up to a couple seconds throwing off our timeline.

It seems to happen when you first enter the slides.

They're exported as html5, and I've never seen such a big delay before, especially from a file that isn't that big, or have that much content to slow it down.

We're used this file before to make other courses, that had a lot more moving parts,

Has anyone else experience this issue, or found what was causing it?

I would recommend to leave a small gap before and after the slide audio in each side:

I've tried that,

unfortunately didn't seem to do anything with the slides it keeps happening on.

Thanks  anyway

How long are the slides and how heavy the audio clips? Try to avoid very long slides with lot of audio.

In HTML5 output the content on each slide is downloaded when the slide is reached, not preloaded beforehand.  That's why you are getting a delay.  (SWF by contrast does a lot of preloading and plays much more seamlessly.)

Unfortunately i'm need this be responsive, so SWF isn't a option us
