Audio feature question

I have some audio issues in the course I'm writing.    They are happening both within (1)advanced action scripts that trigger an audio and (2) from audio that is run when the slide is initiated.   I mention this because I can't see a pattern about when it is and isn't happening.    The audio triggers and starts to play but isn't coming at full volume for several seconds, sounds muted and then works properly.    The issue isn't with the audio file itself as when I listen to the file in another format it is working fine.     Do you have any suggestions of other things I could check?

    Hi Note,

When you say " The issue isn't with the audio file itself as when I listen to the file in another format it is working fine." do you mean an actual different format or do you just mean if you play the file outside of Captivate? Different formats can behave differently in Captivate, thatch why I'm asking for clarification.

    Cheers

When I play the file even inside captivate it sounds normal.   It's only when I launch it and it opens in Internet explorer that I have the problem.   I recorded all of the files in the same way and it's sporadic which ones are affected.   So I'm wondering if there is something causing it to be muted at first and then full volume.    Thanks for your help!

Which version of Captivate are you using, please? Can you give the full number (look under Help, About Captivate)?
