Audio file from presenter won't compress...

After adding audio to my presentation, the total file size was over 100mb which was too big for the Adobe connect to handle. I guess there is a 100mb limit on that. I have started to delete slides but the audio file will not compress. it stays at approximately the same thing until finally after deleting and deleting, it magically says compressing audio. This ppc file then goes from 121MB down to 59MB. Is there a way to force it to compress after deleting only the slides i want?

Does anyone from Adobe even monitor this forum?
