Hello,

I am using Captivate 5.5. I have audio on a slide that I want to loop. Under properties I have selected "Loop Audio." However, the audio is not looping in preview mode or when published. Any ideas?  Thanks!

You can rename the Captivate 5 folder to Captivate5old.

Make sure Adobe Captivate is closed, and then you rename the folder.

After renaming it, try launching the product and then check if you are still getting the same problem

    Rename the Captivate 5 Folder.

You told me that you are using Adobe Captivate 5.5, but the screen shot shows a folder with name captivate 5.

Do you have both the versions installed on the machine? If yes, then rename the Adobe Captivate 5.5 folder to Captivate 5.5 old

    I'm so sorry, I misspoke. I have Captivate 5.

In that case, what should I rename the Cativate 5 folder to?

    Try recreating the preferences :

    1.Close Adobe Captivate.

    2.Locate the preference folder:

Windows Vista and Windows 7: C:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5 folder

              Windows XP:  C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 5 folder

              Mac:  /Users/[user name]/Library/Preferences/Adobe Captivate 5 folder

    3.Rename the preference folder.

4.Restart Adobe Captivate. A new configuration folder is automatically created.

    Hi,

can you tell me the duration of the audio inserted and the duration of the slide.

the duration of the audio must be less than that of the slide.

Can you try importing audio in a new blank project and test on that.

Hi, The audio is 2.5 seconds and the slide is 8 seconds. The audio that needs to loop is on the second page of the project.

I imported the audio into a blank project and had it on the first slide and the looping worked. Then I added a slide with audio (making the slide that needs to loop slide 2 again) and then it also wouldn't loop anymore. So the audio won't loop if it is the 2nd slide with audio in the project.

    Any ideas? Thanks!!!!
