Audio Pop at end of imported audio clips. (CAPTIVATE 9)

Hi there,
I am having a small, yet annoying, issue with some of my audio clips after I import them into Captivate. I will lay out my workflow steps below.

1) I record my voice in Captivate, I am reading a script off the slide notes.
2) After I finish recording I export the audio out to Audacity for clean up.
3) In Audacity I use only the noise reduction filter and then re-export it out to my Captivate audio folder.
4) My audio in Audacity has no pop at the end of it.
5) When I play the audio in Captivate there is an audio "pop" at the very end of the audio clip.
6) There is no wavelength that shows the pop in the Captivate editor.

7) When I play the audio in any other program, there is NO "pop". It only happens in Captivate.
Side Notes: I have tried extending the timeline. I have tried muting or inserting silence at the end of the clip. I have tried turning off all other noises, such as mouse clicks and keytyping. The pop is still there...

I am a little baffled as to why I can't figure out what is causing this issue. If anyone has dealt with this before please let me know.

Thanks,
Matt W

This is a known issue. Try and publish your project to see if it ends up in the final eLearning project. If you're like me you won't hear the pop once it's published. It does make it annoying while you are working on your project but you get used to it. Feel free to submit it as a bug to Adobe. While it's a known issue I find they won't work on solving problems until they reach critical mass.

Also, another tip for imported audio is to leave a small space before the audio plays on your slide timeline. This tends to help with audio publishing problems

RodWard. I will look into that tomorrow morning. I will let you know if that fixes it as well. Thanks for the response

Thanks for getting back to me so fast Paul. I will go ahead and try to publish it to see if the pop is still there. I'll send a bug ticket to Adobe as well.

Cheers,
