Audio Starts Randomly During Quiz Question Pool - Cpv8

This is in Captivate 8 on an HTML5 non-salable project.

I have a project with a quiz that pulls questions from several different question pools. There are 3 slides after the quiz ends, and those slides have audio on them. After a certain slide in the quiz the audio from the slides after the quiz starts automatically on it's own. This is obviously unintended. There is no audio linked to any of the quiz slides. They're question pool slides. This issue has happened sometimes after the 3rd question and sometimes after the 6th question.

I have tried deleting the audio from the slides after the quiz and that fixes the solution. However, when I add the audio back again the issue happens again.

Any thoughts?

Hi James. Did you resolve this? I am having the same problem.

The workaround I found was to ensure that the timeline had a second or two before the audio starts and ends.

Apparently Captivate builds all project audio into a single audio file when publishing, and the lack of a gap on the beginning and ending of a slide can cause the audio segments on two different slides to overlap in the final output.

I was fighting this earlier this year, I believe the solution was to turn off 'Advanced Compression' in the Project Preferences.
