audio volume fluctuations captivate 9

I have a Captivate 9 project with 39 slides. Each slide has audio, but was recorded on different days. When I play back, the volume fluctuates from slide to slide. Is there a way to correct the volume so it is similar across the whole project?

    Captivate's audio recorder is limited at best. Use an external audio editor. Audacity is free and has great functionality.  Also, record everything (if possible) on the same day. I usually just block out a day and record everything for one course. Your pitch and pace can vary from day to day.

    The easiest way to do that is not with Captivate (would require a lot of trial and error) but with a dedicated audio editor. I am using Audition (part of the CC) but am sure that Audacity (free) has similar functionality to equalize video in multiple audio clips.
