Question

Audio which is not visible in the timeline is heard on the final slide

I am using Captivate 7. In some of my videos saved as MP4 the last slide includes audio. The audio file is not visible in the timeline and is not heard when the project or some of the project is previewed. It is only heard when the MP4 is played back and it is always on the final slide. It appears to be part of the narration from earlier in the video.

Does anyone have this problem? Or any ideas on how to correct it?

Thanks!

My last frame is simply a logo page with no audio. I found that I must have audio included on the last frame in order to stop the program from pulling in random audio from elsewhere in the project. Why? I don't know.

My solution was to add audio to the final frame and turn the volume down so that it cannot be heard. The addition of silence from the Edit Audio window will not do the trick.
