Auto-advance in captivate 19

Hi, I'm a total captivate newbie. I've seen this question answered for other versions of captivate but those option placements aren't available for captivate 2019 (or I can't find them). How do I stop my project from auto-advancing? Do I need to create an advanced action, or is there a work around?

    The most recent version of Captivate is 11.5, which is one of the multiple releases under CP2019.

    If you want to pause each slide which is normal for a presentation but not at all for an eLearning course there are many options possible:

    • Insert an invisible shape (Alpha Fill = 0 and Stroke=0) used as Button on the Main Master slide. Set its Success action to Pause. Each slide will be paused at its end.
    • Alternative: set the Exit action for each slide to the command Pause. 
    • Put a Next button on the first slide, Time it for the rest of the project (Timing Properties). Default action is automatically set to Go to Next Slide. If you have staggered objects on the Timeline, make sure that the pausing point of the button is after the the start of the last object timeline.
