auto play image persists html5 captivate 7

Captivate 7, HTML5 publish. Auto Play check box is clear (not checked) Image is set for auto play. When published, must click the start arrow twice to start movie and the starting image (in publish settings auto play field) fades but remains (won't go away). Windows 8.1, Chrome Browser (latest).
