Auto Play of slides in Captivate 6.0

Hi I have created a project in Captivate 6.0. However the slides are not proceeding automatically. After the second slide the poject restarts from the first slide until i click on the next button. So every time i need to keep on clicking the next button. Also it does not even pause for a second and immediately moves to the begining of presentation.

I want the slides to proceed automatically . Can anyone Please help.

    Hello Liza ,

    Welcome to Adobe Forums!

    I guess you have imported the powerpoint by using the option of On mouse click for Advancing the slide.

    Please re-import the powerpoint and change the Advance slide option to Automatically instead of On mouse click.

    See the screenshot below

    If you don't want to re-import the slides you will have to manually remove the click box from each slide.

    Hope this resolves your issue

    But since you didn't get an answer this means your question is really not understood.

    Post a screenshot of the timeline please. How was that project created, is it perhaps a Powerpoint import where you choose the option 'by user click' instead of 'Automatically'?

    I'm even more puzzled by 'project restarts from the first slide'? If there is no action on the second slide that returns the navigation to the first slide I cannot imagine what is causing this, never did read such a question and have answered a lot.

    Which exact number version do you have. 6 was there in 3 versions.

    Hi Thanks for the reply . I am quite new to Adobe captivate, and i  am creating this project for our internal purpose. The version i am using is 6.0. and as desired attached is the screen shot of timeline.

    I ll be thankful if this is resolved.

    Like Lilybiri guessed it, this seems to be a PowerPoint-based file.

    What is the purpose of the click box? Can you remove it and test?
