Background audio messed up after publishing on Captivate 9 Win 10

I've recently upgraded to Captive 9 from 6, and I made a minor change to a project, but when I publish to mp4, the background audio comes out all messed up. It sounds like the music is doubled but playing out of sync. I checked audio management and there is only one background audio file listed. Its sound fine in preview. All ideas?

Are you on the latest version 9.0.2.437?

That is an upgrade over many versions, much has changed. Do you see the audio clips in the Library? Maybe you can check them, to see if they are fine. Then you could delete the slide audio and drag the audio clip from the Library to the slide. Leave a small gap before and afer the clip on the timelien.
